We drove by where the Olympics here held here. Wish we had time to stop and see some of it but we didn't. I was able to take a picture of the ski are used in the Olympics.
The sky line is nice but a little hazy in the picture I took but it gives you an idea of it.
Once through Calgary it was only a couple of hours to Montana. I was anxious to return to the US. I loved my visit to Canada and would like to come back again someday but it would feel good to be back home. We crossed the border at the Carway crossing.
Now to St Mary's and the KOA. We are both pretty tired it has been a long day. The KOA is pretty nice, they even have make pizza and deliver it to you trailer. They also have a restaurant of sorts. In the morning you can buy breakfast and at night it is BBQ until 10 pm, the prices are very reasonable. Thank goodness they had a laundry facility, we had 10 days of laundry to do, took us until like 11:00. It does not get dark here until 10:30, this takes some getting used to.
Tuesday dawned warm and sunny, blue skies. I am still pretty tired and need to do some house cleaning so Joe went hiking on his own, he did the Siyeh pass trail. You can read about his hike on Joe's trip log #2.
This was a nice pleasant day for us both, Joe enjoyed his hike and I enjoyed my rest. Tomorrow we will do the Highline trail.
