DATE BAND VENUE / ADDRESS
01/01/14 MILEPOST 30 CRAZY EARLS - 11274 S. Fortuna Rd., Yuma, AZ
Celebrate New Years Eve with favorite band & BEST friends.
Thank you Travis, Bill, Alex & Brian for a great year of music
and wonderful memories.

5/10/14 13th ANNUAL GATOR BY THE BAY
ZYDECO & BLUES FESTIVAL - SPANISH LANDING - SAN DIEGO , CA
We celebrate our anniversary every year at this our FAVORITE music event of the year as the classic
collection of bands and musicians have left us with many, many wonderful memories. This year was
no exception as we were totally drained of emotions at the end of this amazing day.
CHUBBY CARRIER & the BAYOU SWAMP BAND
The huge dance floor is packed with dancers but we manage to squeeze in front of the stage to enjoy
the high energy vibes and sounds of this typically fun zydeco band. I will always love the fast
accordion, energetic rub board, and stinging guitar riffs of zydeco music.
NICK GRAVENITES , JOHNNY VERNAZZA , MARK HUMMEL , DEANNA BOGART
By far the most emotional show of the event! First time I have ever seen the music LEGEND Nick
Gravenites preform live and it was goose bump city for me especially with Johnny Vernazza backing
him up on slide guitar. I am willing to bet Nick has more legendary music stories than any person
alive. Most people have probably never heard of Nick but EVERYBODY and ANYBODY in
the music industry knows him well.
SUE PALMER and the ALL LADIES SHOES BLUES REVIEW
Sue Palmer (keyboards) has been the kingpin of Boogie-Woogie Blues in San Diego for decades and
assembled the finest lady musicians from San Diego for this show. Throw in Deanna Bogart wailing
on saxophone and this was ONE EXCITING SHOW!!! Highlight was Sue & Deanna playing
together on the keyboard. The four top female vocalists in the area performing lead and harmony
vocals together was absolutely outstanding.
BILLY LEE and the SWAMP CRITTERS
This local band is one of my favorite and plays the festival every year on one of the "side"
stages. They keep the small dance floor packed and the food lines concentrating more on
their energetic performance than placing an order. SANDRA STRAM of fiddle and
rub board has played in many bands over the 10 years and we always enjoy watching her.
BALFA TOUJOURS
Terrific & energetic cajun music band from Lafayette, LA. and the main reason I love
this festival is discovering fantastic bands I have never heard of. Will definitely be
looking to buy their music for my I-Pod. The dual fiddles added an extraordinary
sound to the music, WOW factor to the maximum.
BACKWATER BLUES BAND FEATURING JIMMY WOODARD
Another local blues band who has worked their way up to a main stage performance
(the Mardi Gras Stage) and it is fun to watch a band who usually preforms to 100 people
in a club rock 1000 swing dancers on the dance floor. I love the big band sounds of
horn sections offered in San Diego Blues bands.
BIG DADDY BLUES BAND
Another local huge 8 piece blues band which kept the sound man working hard with
both harmonica and saxophone along with multiple percussion instruments. Sorry this
wonderful band had to open the show with a sparse early morning crowd but they did
set the tone to what would turn out to be a spectacular music day.
TYLER RAY DAVIDSON BLUES BAND
Another up and coming 17 year guitar phenom with nice style but could use much more
maturity in his vocals. I was VERY impressed with the keyboard player on stage with
Tyler who was excellent on the boogie-woogie piano.
04/29/14 MESA YOUTH SYMPHONY MESA ARTS CENTER - 1 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ.
PAXTON NICHOLS last concert of the season with the METROPOLITAN
YOUTH SYMPHONY. Extra treat was the Fiddle Group performing to open
the show.
04/19/14 FX5 DIRKS NITE CLUB - 7662 Broadway , Lemon Grove, CA
FULL XPOSURE BAND to us long time fans of one of the best ever bands
to play in Southern California. Once again our favorite band and our favorite
blue collar dive bar did their best in providing us with a memorable night of
music and excitement!! Huge THANK YOU to Sue & Chris Nolan, Andy
Nossal, John Brengle (thank you for the slide) and the fill in drummer who
kept the band tight and playing their finest ever performance. Thank you to
the Swingers Club who kept the both of us in a who's with who guessing
game all night.
4/03/14 COUGARZZ ROCK THE CABARET 45000 Pechanga Parkway. Temecula, CA.
(inside the Pechanga Resort Casino) 5 piece all female band with
all members performing excellent vocals & harmony. Left handed
guitar player great stage presence & tattoo's to boot. Fun Band.
01/15/14 BEG TO DIFFER THE KRESS - 284 S. Main Street, Yuma, AZ
Rare treat in Yuma when we get the chance to listen to excellent
hard rock & roll. Thank You Alex Munoz for putting this band
together for our listening enjoyment. Great Night!!
01/03/14 TOMMY & the DRIFTERS CRAZY EARLS 11274 S. Fortuna Rd., Yuma, AZ
Tommy Coz is a top flight Blues Guitarist but we do miss
Lonnie on harmonica and Tony Castro on bass & vocals.
04/26/14 DOWNTIME CRAZY EARLS - 11274 S. Fortuna Road , Yuma , AZ
Long time Yuma favorite country cover band. I can remember back
to the days PAUL ESCALANTE had different musicians backing him
every show. STEVE VASQUEZ on drums was an excellent addition
to BRANDON and CHAD on guitars.

06/06/14 BUCKLE RASH WALKABOUT BREWERY / MEDFORD BEER FEST
921 Mason Way , Medford, OR.
Fun and entertaining band with all original songs with definitely different & interesting lyrics.
Must have been influenced by our favorite local Tempe, AZ. band THE REFRESHMENTS.
I could hear a lot of Roger Clyne in this band's music. The lead guitar player KNEW how to
play slide and that caught my ear right away. The crowd, being opening night of the week
long MEDFORD BEER FEST, to say the least was in a very "festive" mood. The fine and
friendly folks of Medford KNOW how to PARTY! Did like the beer keg props on the trailer!
The local brew WORKMAN'S PALE ALE had both of going for seconds. Smooth Brew!!
06/27/14 SLY MISTER Y SKAGIT VALLEY CASINO
WINNERS LOUNGE
Very good classic rock band with two lead guitars, great saxophone, and
excellent vocal harmonies. Great song selection had the crowd dancing all night.
Cigarette smoke in the casino very bothersome.
02/01/14 HOLLYWOOD HILLBILLIES FLYING X SALOON 2030 McCulloch Blvd. North , Lake Havasu City, AZ
Fun and tallented band out of the L.A. area. Great bar,
huge dance floor and lively patrons use it every song.
06/21/14 THE GARRISON'S SUNSET SPEEDWAY PARK, BANKS, OREGON
Fan appreciation night the family band from Hillsboro, OR. played rocking blues
and classic rock for the race fans behind the turn four bleacher seats before race,
at intermission, and after races. Great Saxophone. Hope to hear this band again!
02/25/14 JERRY PRUNTY'S MISSOURI OPRY - VAL VISTA RV RESORT BALLBOOM
233 N. Val Vista Ave. , Mesa, AZ.
Classic blend of multiple instruments, humor, and down
home Southern country music straight from the Ozarks.
07/04/14 SONIC FUNK ORCHESTRA - LITTLE CREEK CASINO & RESORT
91 West, State Route 108, Shelton, WA
Big band with lead singer, two harmony singers, three piece horn section,
keyboard, percussion, drummer, two lead guitars, and bass with their own
sound man. Great sound and harmony vocals had wonderful voices, kept
lively crowd on the large dance floor. Very comfortable lounge with nice
selection of beer on tap (Alaskan Pale Ale), just wish for no smoking in casinos
02/26/14 MESA YOUTH SYMPHONY MESA ARTS CENTER - 1 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ.
Paxton Nichol's violin concert Division 3 Violin 2 Chair 5.
02/27/14 HIGHLAND JUNIOR & HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT
HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL - 4301 E. Guadalupe Rd., Gilbert, AZ Paxton Nichol's 8th Grade orchestra concert. Ex student
Vassilios Makavos had the orchestra debut his first composition "Highland Suite".
03/14/14 QUICK HITCH THE STANDARD RESTAURANT 130 Main St., Yuma, AZ.
BILL GALETKA and ALEX MUNOZ first acoustic show
together. Thank you both for a great show and to help us
mellow out from stress of repairing our trailer.
04/13/14 ROCKY ZHARP SWEET BABY JANE'S BBQ 124 S. Harvard St., Hemet, CA.
Sunday afternoon musicians (6:00 to 8:00 pm) jam is where all the local
musicians & town folk hang. Cozy, friendly bar in Louisiana style BBQ
joint where everybody knows everybody but ME. Rocky is excellent
at blending all the musicians and final touch is when hostess Kimberly
steps up to mic and sings. Enjoyed the music and listening in on locals
talking their small town lives.
04/04/14 BIG TRUTH TEMECULA WINE & BEER CELLAR 28464 Old Town Front Street, Temecula, CA
Hard driving Rock & Southern Rock band with 2 female lead
singers kept the dance floor packed & jumping. Bands play outside
on the patio so I parked myself under a heater in the cool 50 deg.
night air. Enjoyable night of tunes & people watching.
06/06/14 BLACK INK BREAKDOWN HABANERO'S CANTINA
142 FRONT STREET , MEDFORD , OR.
Local Medford band with excellent 16 year old lead guitar player. Mostly well
performed original music but could also do excellent Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton
and C.C.R. tunes. Nice bar with lively crowd and good acoustics.
04/11/14 ENTOURAJ PONDEROSA BAR & GRILL 27126 Shadel Rd. Menifee, CA
Older band who played the newer pop and dance tunes seemed a little
out of place. Female lead vocal had great voice & band was good
once sound system was dialed in. Felt bad for the band as they just
couldn't liven up the really older crowd who just wanted to sit & drink.
01/08/14 MUSIC JAM JIMMIE DEE's BAR - 38 W. 2nd Street, Yuma, AZ
First Wednesday of the month gathering of local Yuma musicians
to play together. Special treat Ziggy from El Centro, CA. sat in to
play on guitar, bass, vocals along with "Hazmax" harmonica player
from Italy.
02/05/14 MUSIC JAM JIMMIE DEE's BAR - 38 W. 2nd Street, Yuma, AZ
First Wednesday of the month gathering of local Yuma musicians
to play together. Ziggy & "Hazmax" harmonica player played full set
of hard rock & roll while country drummer Pepper played his ass
off to keep up while grinning ear to ear.
04/28/14 GUILTY PLEASURES - Val Vista RV Resort- 133 N. Val Vista, Mesa, AZ
I usually don't prefer duo bands but this one is an EXCEPTION! Very much
enjoyed the smooth vocals of KRISTIN ROUSE and PAT ROUSE had an
knack for song selection which kept the audience interested and participating.
Perfect way for us to wind down after long drive from Yuma to Mesa.
Enjoyed very much talking music with both of them after the show.
05/11/14 CONFLUENCE - RIVERVIEW RESTAURANT & LOUNGE, THREE RIVERS, CA
Smooth sounding Bluegrass-Folk band with great vocal harmonies. Play on
restaurant patio overlooking the rushing water sounds of the Kewaeh River.
Pleasant way to relax after rough tow through Los Angeles and bouncing up
Highway 99.
05/31/14 MARCH OF BUFFALO - VINTNER'S CELLAR, REDDING, CA
Bluegrass, Folksy, Country sounding trio, excellent original songs, great vocals,
fiddle player, and smooth brush playing drummer. Very nice atmosphere in
wine tasting room on 1700 California Street.
05/09/14 MOR SOL BAND - COYOTE BAR & GRILL , CARLSBAD, CA
Classic rock & roll band with good selection of songs but did not have the sound
equipment to play an outdoor patio packed with people. Difficult to hear the band
unless you were on the dance floor right in front of the band. We had the rear fire
pit and it was impossible to hear the band over the rowdy crowd.

Mis-billed as Classic Rock this is totally a JAZZ band. If you listened VERY
closely you may catch a rock riff sporadically. The keyboard player knew
absolutely NO rock so his abstract jazz notes were a huge distraction to the classic
rock songs the band attempted to play. Only entertainment value were the dancers
dancing as if METALLICA were playing on stage. One beer and I was outta there
before falling asleep on the bar. I have tried very hard to develop an ear for abstract
Jazz but I need a steady beat in my music.
