We have finally started our travels. In the weeks leading up to yesterday we were beginning to feel it would never happen. We took our fifth wheel in for service and found it had a cracked water tank. Of course they don't have one just sitting there waiting to be used, It had to be ordered. We finally took the fifth wheel back a week ago to get the tank replaced. They ended up keeping it for the weekend, thank goodness we still had the park model to stay in. We picked it up Monday. When we got home and were parking I noticed a big bulge in one of the fifth wheel tires. It took us most of Tuesday to get it replaced. We were feeling if one more thing goes wrong we are going to park it and sit on the patio and drink beer.
Luckily nothing else went wrong. We left on schedule at 9 am Thursday morning. Driving Thur California at 55 is no fun. We finally arrived at the Pechanga rv resort about 3pm. We were set up in no time. The resort is beautiful, unfortunately it is to cold to enjoy some of the amenities, like the pool. Hopefully today will be warmer, but I have my doubts as it was 45 degrees at 7 this morning.
We went to the Pechanga casino last night to see a band called Cougarzz Rock. They are an all girl band that really know how to rock. The lead guitarist was really good.
It is time for me to get busy and cook breakfast so you all have a great day, I know we will!
